Brooke Dance Attack

Brooke Serio (BS), Sunnyvale Performing Company Co-Choreographer, began dancing at Trip the light fantastic toe Attack! when she was only vi years former and quickly became a member of the Performing Company. During her ten years in the Performing Visitor, she learned from countless choreographers, served every bit a member of Team Rave SF, performed at diverse halftime shows and customs events, and besides won a Leadership Award. During this fourth dimension, Brooke was also ane of the get-go members of Archbishop Mitty Loftier School's dance squad. She began teaching at Dance Assault! immediately subsequently graduating high schoolhouse while pursuing her caste at San Jose Country University. In 2009, Brooke began choreographing for the Performing Company. She is now Co-Artistic Director of the Performing Company and Managing director of Minis Performing Company in Sunnyvale, where her routines have won many judges awards and overall medals. In add-on to teaching and directing PC, Brooke is also pursuing a career in corporate consequence planning. Brooke teaches tap, jazz, and combo class at Dance Set on!

Dasha

Dasha Maximovich (DM), Los Gatos Performing Company Director, has been serving on the faculty of Dance Attack since 2010, where she is currently Co-Directing the award-winning Performing Company. Dasha brings a wealth of professional grooming and performing experience to her teaching at DA. Her contempo choreography has earned her special recognition and honors. Dasha is proud to take received several Choreography Awards for her piece of work. A native Russian, Dasha was trained in 1 of the most prestigious ballet schools in the country and was trained in the classical Vaganova'due south technique. After moving to the U.S., she continued her training at San Jose State University and graduated with a Available Degree in Dance with an emphasis in ballet. While studying at SJSU, Dasha was a member of the Academy Trip the light fantastic Theatre, directed by Gary Masters, and a member of the musical theatre Company One, directed past Janie Scott. With the inspiration of her professors at SJSU, Dasha moved to New York Urban center, where she danced and studied at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Trip the light fantastic toe Centre, and Peri Dance. Throughout her performing career, Dasha has performed in Las Vegas, New York, the San Francisco Bay Expanse, and is currently represented by VEP Events Bureau, LV. Dasha is too a staff member of Monta Vista High Schoolhouse in Cupertino, CA and at USA Spirit Dance Association. Her love and passion for dance is something that she is determined to pass on to her students. Jessica

Jessica Egbert Baranda (JME), Sunnyvale Performing Company Managing director,Jessica Egbert's trip the light fantastic toe training spans two decades, culminating into her undergraduate studies at California State University, Long Embankment as a BFA major in Dance and a minor in Advice Studies.Upon her graduation, Jessica received the Most Outstanding Graduate Award for the College of the Arts, besides every bit the Betty DuPont, Richard and Joanna Baker, and COTA Scholarships. Jessica has received extensive training in Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Improvisation, and Choreography and performed in multiple venues in Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York Urban center. She is currently a dancer for The Anata Projection and Accomplish BC Dance Company, both San Francisco based dance companies and has performed in works by Gabriel Mata, Andrew Vaca, Keith Johnson, Gerald Casel, Rebecca Lemme, and Rebecca Bryant. Jessica has a latitude of experience teaching dance including Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop and Tap, to students ranging in age from 2 to 18 years one-time. In addition to her performance work and teaching, she also works as a Production Assistant for a few trip the light fantastic toe companies in San Francisco.

Theresa Hoyer

Theresa Hoyer (Th), Competition Manager/Los Gatos Training Track Manager, attended San Jose State University equally a special major in Musical Theatre and a double minor in Dance and Elementary Didactics. In improver to dancing and performing, Theresa has worked as a stage managing director and tech coiffure for various productions at SJSU and community theaters such as Tabard Theatre Co., Sunnyvale Community Players, and Company One. She is a musical theater director for Starting Arts. Theresa'south electric current goal is to get an elementary school teacher, as well equally become involved with other theatre companies to pursue a career in outreach, bringing theater into schools and encouraging kids to be more than confident and enthusiastic about the arts. Theresa teaches Tap, Musical Theater, and Combo classes, also every bit the classes for dancers with Special Needs, the Fri Fine Arts Club, and she co-directs the Dance Attack! Los Gatos Prep Squad.

Graciela Acedo (GA) – Balletbegan her trip the light fantastic training in Caracas, Venezuela. She earned multiple scholarships to train with elite programs in the United States such as Boston Ballet and Harkness Ballet, NY. She studied teaching in Cuba and began her professional career with Ballet Teresa Carreno. Graciela moved on to trip the light fantastic with Ballet Nuevo Mundo de Caracas and before long became a principal dancer. She traveled the world with Ballet Nuevo. In the U.Southward., Graciela has danced with Oakland Ballet, Margaret Wingrove Dance Co., Pacific Dance Theatre of San Francisco, Western Ballet, Peninsula Ballet Theatre, Santa Clara Ballet, and Princeton Ballet. Currently, she teaches at Dance Attack, UsF., Berkeley Ballet, SOTA S.F. School for the Arts, Ayako Ballet School, and Diablo Ballet pre-professional programme. Graciela has been a guest teacher for several Bay Area and international dance schools such every bit Pacific Dance Theatre of Southward.F. and University of Nebraska, every bit well equally assistant manager to programs at Western Ballet.

Jessalyn

Jessalyn Espiritu (JE) – Jazz/Hip Hopis a native of the Bay Area. She is a graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Psychology and Folklore and also has an extensive background of choreography and trip the light fantastic toe. Jessalyn has danced and choreographed for several pro dance teams and hip-hop crews which include Richmond Rocket Girls, Silhouette, THYCK, Fusion Latina, Civilisation Shock Oakland, Phase 2, Oakland Raiderettes and the NLL Stealth's Spy Girls. Amanda Marquez (AM) – Latin/BallroomAmanda's trip the light fantastic toe background is versatile and extensive with her core training from The Schoolhouse of the Garden Country Ballet, NJ in classical ballet, mod and jazz. Her studies connected into New York Style Mambo, International Latin and Latin Jazz. Amanda has fabricated television receiver appearances on Telemundo, Univision and the BBC Vancouver, and has done many alive performances including TheLatin Billboard Awards in Miami. Amanda has taught and performed aslope director Sekou McMiller and SMc Dance Co. in Vancouver, China, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle and Chicago. Tina McLean (TM) – Preschool Tap/Ballet graduated from San Jose State Academy with a degree in dance. She was one of Trip the light fantastic Attack'south get-go students in Santa Clara and she went on to get a member of the Performing Company. She was in SJSU'southward Academy Trip the light fantastic Theatre and has performed at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, the American College Dance Festival, and in several trip the light fantastic toe program concerts. She was a member of Funkanometry for several years and is currently dancing with De La Femme. She teaches philharmonic classes and jazz, and co-directs the Dance Assault! Los Gatos Prep Squad.

Juliet Pinto (JP) – Trip the light fantastic Essentialsgraduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in English language. She started tap dancing with Dottie White at the age of v, and then added Jazz and Ballet one time she started dancing with Sioux Lehner at Trip the light fantastic Attack! She started breaking and danced several years with the hip hop outreach group, Civilisation Stupor Southward.F., while she was in loftier school. In 2000, she was honored by LA Dance Magic as a Magic Performer and she moved to Fifty.A. to pursue a dance career. She was a fellow member of the Groovaloos while she lived in Northward Hollywood and was a founding member of the all female trip the light fantastic toe crew, Beatfreaks. Juliet appeared in several music videos including Dimples by John Lee Hooker, Written on my Eye by Plus One, Block Party for Lisa Lefteye Lopez, and Tainted Dearest for Marilyn Manson. She has also appeared in commercials for American Express and Dr. Pepper, and in the flick Legally Blonde ii equally a cheerleader.  Juliet teaches Tap, Jazz, and combo classes.

Patricia Retanubun (PR) – Sunnyvale Mini Squad Co-Directorgraduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, with Jazz emphasis. She has been dancing and performing since age three in various styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, and modern. During her time in the trip the light fantastic toe program she was fortunate enough to be involved in the Academy Trip the light fantastic toe Theatre nether artistic educators of Gary Masters and studied under Jill Yager, Heather Cooper, Dominique Lomuljo, and Keith Pinto. Patricia also focused in dance limerick nether the guidance of Fred Matthews. She has performed at the American Higher Trip the light fantastic Association at Cal State Long Beach. Prior to her didactics at San Jose State University. Patricia studied Royal Academy of Dance under the direction of Bambi Fleeman, Sandra Burnham, and Isabelle Sjahsam. Patricia is currently a performer at Disney World, Florida. She is a recipient of Outstanding Student in Trip the light fantastic award from Ohlone Customs College and studies under the management of Janel Tomblin-Brown.  Patricia teaches Jazz and combo classes, and co-directs the Dance Attack! Sunnyvale Minis..

Anton

Anton Pankevich (AP) – Ballet trained at the Vaganova University in St. Petersburg, Schoolhouse of American Ballet in New York Metropolis, and San Francisco Ballet School. He has danced with New York City Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Imperial Ballet in London, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Ballet San Jose. As a teacher, Anton has taught as a ballet chief at English language National Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, Leipzig Ballet, Hanover Ballet, Wiesbaden Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Ballet San Jose.

Maria LaMance (ML) – Balletreceived her classical ballet training at the San Francisco Ballet School. As a dance major at San Francisco State Academy, she broadened her training in Modern Trip the light fantastic, anatomy, and kinesiology. Maria has performed professionally with numerous companies including Peninsula Ballet Theatre, Trip the light fantastic toe Through Time, Huckabay McAllister Dance, and Moving Arts Dance, with whom she performed chief roles on tours to Belarus, France, and Scotland. Most recently, Maria has been performing with Oakland Ballet, Run for your Life Dance Visitor, Art Confront Performance Group and Menlowe Ballet Company. Maria has instructed children, teens, and adults in ballet, modern, drama, and graphic symbol dance. In her education, Maria respects the individual anatomical and developmental capacities of every student, and emphasizes the importance of musicality and self-expression.

Studio Owner

Owner Potato Rowan started singing and dancing at age five right here in the Bay Area with Children's Playhouse of San Jose.  This early immersion, plus her theater degree from UC Davis, led to a decorated performing career, including jobs at Groovy America (Yogi'south Bang-up Ballot – 1988 – really!), American Musical Theater of San Jose (Grand Hotel), The Willows (Spitfire Grill), The Western Stage (The Who's Tommy and City of Angels), 42nd St. Moon (Leave It to Me!), and TheatreWorks (Kept and Gypsy), equally well as 5 years at sea, performing roles like "Lola" in Copacabana on the Crown, Cunard, and Kingdom of the netherlands America prowl lines.

Murphy and her married man, Bryan, are and then grateful to Elaine and Lee Pinto for entrusting the at present 30 year legacy of Trip the light fantastic toe Attack! to them.
